Indonesian EMP purchases 10% of Inpex's Masela block

Jakarta-Indonesia's Energi Mega Persada (EMP) has paid Japan's Inpex $100 million for a 10% stake in the Masela block in the Timor Sea, EMP's investor relations manager Herwin Hidayat said November 25. "The acquisition has been effective since November 24, as we paid $100 million to Inpex," Hidayat said. "We used money from a rights issue to finance the acquisition."
