Woodside to pick Sunrise LNG option in Q1

Sydney-Australia's Woodside Petroleum expects to select one of two development concepts for its Sunrise LNG project in the Timor Sea, neither of which would be popular with the government of Timor-Leste, before the end of March 2010. The deadline was outlined in the company's latest quarterly report, released January 22, which showed sales revenue totaling A$4.35 billion ($3.98 billion) for 2009, down a hefty 27% from A$5.99 billion in 2008, when oil prices ran up sharply in the first half of the year.
