Pertamina, Medco lower price of Donggi Senoro gas

Jakarta-Indonesia's Pertamina and Medco have lowered their offer price for gas from the Donggi Senoro fields in Central Sulawesi to $5-6/MMBtu from $6.16/MMBtu, but have asked the government to guarantee the project remains economically viable and finds sufficient financing, a senior oil and energy ministry official said October 30. "Pertamina and Medco have agreed to sell the gas [to domestic consumers] at $5-6/MMBtu at the wellhead, but with certain conditions," oil and gas director general at the energy and mines ministry, Evita Legowo said, but declined to give details.
