Glencore joins fledgling Singapore exchange

London-Glencore has joined the fledgling Singapore Mercantile Exchange as a trading member, the SMX said September 23. The Switzerland-based trading company lines up as the third named trade member of the exchange. In June, SMX said Switzerlandbased Vitol had signed on as one of its first trade members, along with TransMarket Group, a trading company based in Chicago.
