StatoilHydro to become Statoil from November

London—Norwegian major StatoilHydro plans to rename itself as Statoil with effect from November 1, the company said March 24.The change has been proposed by the company’s board and will be voted on by shareholders at StatoilHydro’s Annual General Meeting on May 19.
