Dubai-A tender to build a Red Sea port in southern Saudi Arabia has been aborted at the request of Saudi Aramco, which is considering changing the location of a proposed new refinery in the area, the Malaysian contractor in charge of the Jazan Economic City development said August 25. “The Construction Harbour tender has been aborted in view of the impending change to the Jazan refinery’s location as requested by Saudi Aramco,” MMC Corporation Berhad said in a filing to the Malaysia Stock Exchange.
