Shell revises operating units under new CEO

London-Shell unveiled May 27 plans to carve up the management of its LNG, power and renewable energy operations to help cut costs as part of restructuring plans set out by incoming CEO Peter Voser.Effective July 1, Shell said it will fold most of the activities of its Exploration and Production, Gas and Power, and Oil Sands units into two new upstream divisions to streamline operations and cut out backroom overhead.
