EIA sees US offshore crude production nearly doubling by 2030

Washington—The current political consensus to develop further the Outer Continental Shelf means that US offshore crude production by 2030 will be at 2.7 million b/d, close to double the annual rate in 2007, the Energy Information Administration said March 31 in its Annual Energy Outlook.
