Amman, Jordan-The long-awaited startup of crude exports from the northern Iraqi region of Kurdistan is now set for June 1, the Kurdish Regional Government said May 8, sending the shares of two Kurdish producers, Norway's DNO and Canada's Addax Petroleum, soaring.The KRG said exports would begin at a rate of 60,000 b/d from DNO's Tawke field after the field pipeline is tied into northern Iraq's main export pipeline to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.
