Lagos-Shell has extended the force majeure on crude oil loadings from the Forcados export terminal in southern Nigeria to include May liftings following delays to repairs on a damaged pipeline, a company spokeswoman said May 5."The force majeure declared on March 7, 2009, on outstanding March and April loadings from [Shell's] Forcados terminal has been extended to include scheduled May offtake," the spokeswoman said. "This extension followed a revision of the trans-Escravos pipeline repair schedule due to security in the field."
