Japan trims LNG, crude imports, products output

Singapore-Japan imported 4.24 million mt of LNG in May, down 18.8% on year, customs data released June 29 by the Ministry of Finance showed. That figure was also down 19.6% from April, when Japan imported 5.27 million mt. Taking individual supply sources, the largest annual drop was in imports from Oman, which were down 40.6% from a year ago to just 185,311 mt, while in monthly terms the largest drop was in imports from Brunei, which slipped 38% to 365,472 mt.
