Singapore-South Korea increased its crude imports in August to 72.77 million barrels (2.42 million b/d) as refiners looked to boost their stocks, which were languishing at their lowest levels since last October. Crude imports in August were up 11.3% from July and 3.5% higher than last August, according to data released September 25 by state-run Korea National Oil Corporation.
