Hong Kong-Chinese offshore producer CNOOC Limited October 29 reported a 23.1% dive in revenue for the third quarter, largely due to the plunge in international crude prices in the reporting period versus the high levels a year ago. In unaudited operational results for the July-September period filed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, CNOOC said total revenue amounted to Yuan 23.76 billion ($3.48 billion) during the quarter, down from Yuan 30.88 billion ($4.52 billion) in the same 2008 period.
