BP, state probing spill at Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay field

Anchorage—BP and state of Alaska officials said November 30 they are investigating an oil spill from an 18-inch diameter pipeline in the Prudhoe Bay field that was discovered November 29. The volume of the spill and its cause have not yet been determined, BP spokesman Steve Rinehart said.
