Indonesia’s Pertamina to hike 2009 oil output by 9%

Jakarta-Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina expects to boost its crude and condensate production by 9% to 169,750 b/d in 2009, a senior official said December 31. Pertamina pumped 156,000 b/d of oil in 2008, the company’s upstream director Karen Agustiawan said. Natural gas output was 1.2 Bcf/d and is expected to remain steady in 2009, she added.
