Nippon Oil to cut November runs by 1%

Tokyo-Japan's largest refiner Nippon Oil plans to process 4.82 million kiloliters (30.32 million barrels or 977,962 b/d) of crude in November, down 1% from a year ago, due to sluggish local demand for oil products, company officials said October 27. The plan represents an operating rate of 74.3% based on Nippon Oil's installed capacity of 1.317 million b/d at seven refineries. The company's October crude throughput is expected to come in at 4.36 million kl, down 14% from a year ago, the officials added.
