Asian November crude partials trade hits 3-year peak

Singapore-Observed trading in partial cargoes of Dubai and Oman crude oil in Asia surged to more than 3.6 million barrels in November, making it the busiest month of trade on record since July 2006. Four cargoes of January-loading crude oil were declared during Platts' Market on Close assessment process, with Shell lifting each of the shipments. On November 18, Western trader Phibro nominated a cargo of Abu Dhabi's Upper Zakum crude to Shell, while China's Unipec, the trading division of state oil giant Sinopec, nominated an Upper Zakum cargo to Shell on November 26.
