SandRidge eyes Pinon field participation agreements

Houston-Mid-sized producer SandRidge Energy is evaluating $125 million of so-called participation agreements on its core West Texas Pinon field that would accelerate reserve development there, CEO Tom Ward said May 8. The deals would require companies to pay a portion of drilling costs and in return acquire a working interest in new wells in the field, Ward said during an earnings conference call.
