Shell mulls options for Concerto gas find

Sydney-Shell is considering development options for a new gas discovery with commercial potential in its "F block" permit off Western Australia, Perth-based company spokeswoman Claire Wilkinson said August 7. The discovery was made with the Concer-to-1 well in Shell's wholly owned WA-371-P permit, commonly known as the F block due to its shape, located about 450 km (279 miles) northwest of Broome in the offshore Browse Basin. Concerto-1 was the tenth of 12 commitment wells for the acreage.
