StatoilHydro restarts Kristin field after work

London-StatoilHydro has restarted its Kristin gas and condensate field in the Norwegian Sea after upgrading the platform's lifeboat mechanisms, the company said January 23.StatoilHydro stopped Kristin's output January 8 after discovering a defect in the lifeboat release mechanisms at another platform using the same system. Kristin was producing around 10 million cubic meters/day of gas and 10,000 cubic meters of condensate per day. It can produce up to 20 million cm/day of gas.
