Washington-US natural gas storage inventories rose by 25 Bcf to a new record high of 3.759 Tcf for the week ended October 23, the penultimate week of the traditional refill season, the Energy Information Administration reported October 29. The build was slightly below consensus expectations that ranged from 27 to 31 Bcf and was below last year's 49 Bcf fill and the five-year average of 43 Bcf.
