European refineries face spring turnaround

London—An extensive turnaround season is set to reduce capacity in Northwest Europe from March for most of the spring months as some of the major refineries in the area start planned work, market sources said last week.At the same time, Mediterranean refineries that have been out of production for most of January and February are coming back on line, sources said.
