Houston-Iraq will delay the country's first upstream bidding round of eight oil and gas fields, the country's ambassador to the United Nations, Hamid al-Bayati, said May 14.Forty-one companies, including majors ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, Chevron and Total, have been pre-qualified by the Ministry of Oil to bid in what would be the first large-scale international oil industry investment in Iraq in decades.
