London-Croatia's state prosecutors have begun an investigation into the purchase by Hungary's MOL in October last year of a 22% stake in Croatian oil and gas company INA, which saw the Hungarian company increase its stake to a controlling 47%, Croatia's State Attorney's Office said December 8. The office wants to see all the contracts signed between MOL and INA at that time and since. "The delivery of contracts was requested to establish whether they potentially harmed Croatia," the office said in a statement posted on its web site.
