Western Australia opens new domestic LNG plant

Sydney-Western Australian Energy Minister Peter Collier April 30 officially opened a newly commissioned niche LNG plant at Kwinana in the state's southwest.The plant, built by Wesfarmers Energy, has a capacity of 175 mt/d or 64,000 mt/year and is the second facility of its kind dedicated to domestic LNG supply in Western Australia, the minister said in a statement.
