ExxonMobil diverts LNG gas to Aceh fertilizer plant

Jakarta-ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia has started diverting 60,000 Mcf/d of natural gas from the Aceh LNG plant to state-owned fertilizer company Pupuk Iskandar Muda at a price of $5.88/MMBtu, a senior company official said January 21.The Indonesian government, which is trying to stimulate the struggling economy of Aceh province, has asked ExxonMobil to give PIM priority over meeting LNG export commitments.
