UAE's Dragon raises Q1 Turkmen oil production 19%

Dubai-Dubai-headquartered Dragon Oil increased its first-quarter oil production by 19% to 43,787 b/d, while sales jumped 108% to 2.5 million barrels from 1.2 million barrels last year, the company said April 28.The company's total production comes from a 100% operator interest in the Cheleken contract area in the Caspian Sea offshore Turkmenistan for which it signed a 25-year production sharing contract in 1999.
