Gazprom, Kogas to study gas pipeline routes

Moscow-Russian gas giant Gazprom and Korea Gas Corporation signed an agreement June 23 to jointly study the shipment of Russian natural gas to South Korea, with the two companies looking specifically at possible delivery routes. The document was signed during a visit to South Korea by Gazprom CEO Alex-ei Miller, and it provides for the study of potential routes to South Korea from the terminus of Russia's planned Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline.
