Apache, Kufpec exit Pluto LNG negotiations

Singapore-Australia's Woodside Petroleum said October 23 that US-based Apache Corporation and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company have pulled out of talks on processing gas from their WA 356-P permit through Woodside's Pluto LNG project. Apache and Kufpec have instead opted to send their gas through US major Chevron's rival LNG project at Wheatstone (ON 10/23). Chevron announced October 22 that it had signed an agreement with the two companies for gas supply.
