Singapore-Thailand’s state-owned PTT Exploration and Production has nearly doubled its planned investment outlay for the five years from 2009 to 2013 to Baht 418 billion ($11 billion), compared with Baht 287 billion for 2008-2012. The increase was mainly due to the company’s projects in Algeria, Vietnam and Myanmar, which were not included in the investment plan announced in December 2007, an analyst said.
