UTS to sell Alberta oil sands lease stakes to ExxonMobil

Houston-Canada's UTS Energy said November 2 it plans to to sell its 50% working interest in three oil sands leases in Alberta to ExxonMobil and its affiliate Imperial Oil for C$250 million ($232.7 million). The leases, identified as 421, 022 and 023, are located near the Firebag River in northeastern Alberta, UTS said. Teck Resources holds the other 50% stake in the leases.
