Kazakhstan expands crude export duty list

Moscow—Kazakhstan’s Finance Ministry is enlarging the list of companies affected by its newly introduced 15/barrel crude export tax to 39 companies from 38 to include Karacha-ganak Petroleum Operating, the BG Group and Eni-led consortium operating the giant Karachaganak oil and gas condensate field in northwestern Kazakhstan, a ministry representative said July 15.
