Singapore—China's biodiesel producers need reforms to the way the country sets its diesel and gasoline prices to stay in business for the long term, according to a senior official from China Biofuel Energy and Chemical Net (CBBF). Profit margins for biodiesel producers across the country are coming under ever greater pressure, with the cost of feedstocks like waste oil and jatropha already sharply higher this year.
