Tokyo-Japan's average retail price for regular unleaded gasoline was Yen 141.0/liter ($5.40/gal) November 4, down Yen 10.3/l or 6.8% from Yen 151.3/l a week ago and marking the largest seven-day fall since records began, according to data released November 6 by the Oil Information Center. "It was the lowest [price] since Japan saw average regular gasoline prices of Yen 141.3/l on July 30, 2007," said an official at the Oil Information Center, an affiliate of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
