WSI maintains forecast of eight Atlantic hurricanes

Washington—Private weather forecaster WSI on July 1 left unchanged its April tropical weather forecast that calls for 14 named storms and eight hurricanes to form during the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season. The company predicted that four the hurricanes would develop into storms of Category 3 strength or above.
