Pertamina pays 45% of 2007 net profit to Jakarta

Singapore—State-owned Pertamina will pay the Indonesian government about 45% of its 2007 net profit or Rupiah 11 trillion (1.2 billion) as dividend, the company said June 27. The sum accounts for 50% of the government’s total dividend from all state-owned enterprises for 2007, Pertam-ina said.
