Washington—Gasoline markets might ease somewhat in the near future. But the underlying problems are a petroleum infrastructure “unable to cope with increasing demand, a strong world and US economy, and an increasingly complex world of more stringent requirements,” Guy Caruso, head of the Energy Information Administration, told a Senate panel May 15.
