Exxon to appeal Valdez ruling to Supreme Court

New York—The US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals May 23 turned down ExxonMobil’s request for a rehearing of its appeal of the 1994 Exxon Valdez jury verdict. ExxonMobil responded by saying it would now appeal the ruling to the US Supreme Court.
