Rio de Janeiro—Brazilian state-owned Petro-bras said late July 10 it had fired several employees following a sting operation by Brazil’s Federal Police to arrest people who allegedly took bribes, or offered them, in a kickback scheme on contracts to build oil platforms and other infrastructure.
