Hong Kong—China has hit a huge deposit of natural gas in Dazhou city in the Sichuan province, estimated at 3.8 trillion cubic meters (134 Tcf) with 600 billion cu m of the deposit identified as recoverable, the official China Daily reported May 29, quoting government officials.
