Norway OKs Alve field PDO

London—Norway’s Statoil said March 16 its plan for development and operation of the Alve gas and condensate field in the Norwegian Sea has been given ministerial approval. Statoil submitted a simplified PDO for the field in January, which it said was “cost-saving and more effective for both the operator and the government.”
