As crude tops 68/bbl,Iran calls for 1-mil b/d reduction

London/Tehran-Iran wants OPEC to cut its crude production by 1-mil b/d from the beginning of April to prevent oil prices from falling in the second quarter,the country's OPEC governor Hos-sein Kazempour Ardebili said Jan 20,even as oil prices raced toward all-time highs reached earlier this year when Hurricane Katrina blasted through the southern US.
