Singapore's Swiber Holdings nets 19.9 million in IPO

Singapore-Offshore services provider Swiber Holdings is counting on net proceeds of around S30.97 million (19.85 million) from its initial public offering in Singapore, which was 9.6 times oversubscribed. Swiber sold off 94 million shares at S0.355 each, representing about 25.5% of its enlarged capital after the IPO. At the close of the public offer at noon November 6, the oil and gas services company had received applications for 812.528 million shares. Swiber's shares opened November 8 on the Singapore Stock Exchange and had risen to around S0.495 in the first three hours of trading.
