Output starts at Bekasi

Jakarta, Indonesia-Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina has begun producing crude from the Bekasi oil field in West Java at a rate of 1,000-3,000 b/d. Production from the field is set to reach 16,000 b/d by 2008, a senior Pert-amina official said August 9.
