South Korea facing new winter LNG shortage

Seoul-South Korea may face a shortage of LNG again this winter, partly because of competitive demand from other buyers which has prevented the company from concluding timeswap arrangements to maximize its winter inventory, a senior official with state-owned Korea Gas Corporation said November 8.
