Mexico's state Pemex March 14 unveiled a deepwater discovery it claimed has the potential to house 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent.The Noxal 1 exploratory well offshore the southern Gulf state of Veracruz was drilled in 935 meters of water and is aiming to reach 4,000 meters,Luis Ramirez Corzo,director general of Pemex,said.Ramirez was speaking in Cosoleacaque,Veracruz,after a helictopter visit to the well with President Vicente Fox.
