Heavy flooding forces Buckeye to shut product pipeline to New York

New York-Buckeye Partners has been forced to idle a pipeline delivering refined products to most of upstate New York after the line was exposed when floodwa- ters washed away surrounding soil,a com- pany spokesman said June 29. Spokesman Roy Hause said the pipeline was exposed just north of Vestal, New York,at a point where the line cross- es the Susquehanna River.
