Houston-With 21 new fields primed for their 2007 debuts in the US Gulf of Mexico, the region stands poised for its largest single-year growth spurt ever. New projects are slated to add at least 1.36 Bcf/d in natural gas and 303,000 b/d of oil once they reach peak levels by 2008.
