Jakarta-Around 140,000 Mcf/day of gas production in Indonesia has been shut in as a result of a fatal explosion on the pipeline linking Pagerungan and Gresik in East Java late on November 22, a spokesman for pipeline operator Pertamina said November 23. Seven people are reported to have died in the explosion. The cause of the blast, which occurred at 8:00 pm local time, is under investigation, the Pertamina spokesman said.
