India's ONGC, Hinduja to explore LNG opportunities

New Delhi-Indian state-owned exploration major Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and UK-based Hinduja Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to form joint ventures pursuing global LNG projects, ONGC said in a statement November 7. "The collaboration will leverage the upstream expertise of ONGC and the business clout and goodwill of the Hinduja Group in the oil-rich Middle East region to develop LNG projects," ONGC said. The two companies also plan to explore oil and gas projects in the region.
